The kids got out for some shopping today, but we didn't mention to them the shot from the Dr. they would be receiving along the way. They seemed to handle it well and also gained some weight: Tate is 7.4 lbs and Campbell is 7lbs. Everyone continues to do well, and Racheal and I are even getting to sleep between feedings.
You've all been asking "how's it going". Well, the kids are great, but have a slight lack of sleep. Only to be expected for parents of twins! But somehow we're surviving. They are feeding on the same schedule, but still working on the sleeping at the same time. They've had their days and nights mixed up. Feeding is quite the show since I'm breast feeding both at the same time. There will be no pictures of that show.
Nana Smith is here now and Papa Smith will arrive soon. Then we are on our own!
We were discharged on Friday and are happy for it. Today we went back for a follow-up with the pediatrician, and both Tate and Campbell have put back on some of the weight they initially lost. The Dr. was happy with their condition.
We will continue to search for sleep . . .
