Yesterday was a big day for Tate - he got the old snip-snip. He was a little fussy to say the least. We made it through another night and feel great to have gotten 3-4 hours of sleep. We are hoping everyone will get to go home on Friday. They also got dressed up for their first official pictures (by the hospital). I'll post the link when they are up. It was nice to finally use their clothes, especially since they will outgrow them within a few weeks.
Well, we successfully made it over the weekend without any emergency trips to the hospital. It looks like we will be keeping our appointment for 7am tomorrow morning (we have to be there at 5:30am). I guess we will start losing sleep a day early. Anyway, Racheal will probably be in the hospital 3-4 days, and then we plan on spending a week or two at her parents while she recovers. Continue to keep her and the twins in your prayers. C'mon 20 fingers and 20 toes! Lord willing, my next post will include pictures.
While this would certainly fit with Murphy's Law, nothing yet. For those of you outside of KY, we are getting freezing rain and sleet today and will continue to into the night. I have restricted Racheal to the couch or bed so as not to antagonize the inmates into making an early move. In the meantime, here is a photo with no relevant significance.
We went for our last ultrasound today. Both babies are around 6 lbs and looking great. We also received visual evidence that my son has all of his "parts", which is always nice. The doctor also said she would be surprised if Racheal made it to next week, so we are in lock-down mode.
Thanks for your prayers, calls, and cash donations (had to try)!
